Following this, the PNP chief assured that whether or not Baste shows up, the charity boxing match will push through to extend help to fellow Filipinos affected by the severe flooding.
It can be recalled that PNP Chief Nicolas Torre III responded to the challenge made by Davao City acting mayor, Sebastian "Baste" Duterte.
Prior to this, Baste challenged Torre to a fistfight during an episode of ‘Basta Dabawenyo’ on social media.
In a media interview, Torre confirmed that the video of Baste’s challenge reached him, and he gave his response.
