The incident, which occurred due to the combined force of heavy rainfall and strong winds, was captured on the shelter's closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras.

Footage shared by Bayan Patroller Honey Young shows the initial damage occurring around 1:00 PM when a section of the metal roofing over the dog kennel room gave way.

Just an hour later, at approximately 2:00 PM, the entire roof of the animal shelter completely collapsed.

Despite the alarming visual, Honey Young confirmed that all the canine residents emerged unharmed.

However, the destruction necessitated immediate relocation efforts for the numerous dogs under the care of "Loved by the Gapz," the animal shelter managing the facility.

Initially, shelter staff attempted to keep some dogs within the damaged kennel room, as remnants of insulation foam provided a semblance of temporary cover.

However, continuous heavy rain began to seep through the compromised structure, forcing the staff to accelerate the evacuation.

CCTV footage from around 5:00 PM on Wednesday showed rainwater pouring in from the remaining insulation, prompting the dogs to huddle away from the downpour.

Faced with persistent inclement weather and the unsafe conditions, the decision was made to move all animals from the compromised area.

Of the 76 dogs housed at the shelter, 54 were relocated to a large tent erected outside the main kennel room.

To provide better shelter from the ongoing rain, a temporary tarp was quickly installed to extend the tent's coverage.

The remaining 22 dogs were carefully separated and housed in an alternative, secure cage area and another intact kennel room within the facility.

The "Loved by the Gapz" organization has since appealed to the public for assistance in their recovery efforts.

In a recent Facebook post, they detailed their most pressing needs, which include essential construction materials for roof repair such as galvanized iron sheets (yero) and tubular bars.
