Veteran broadcast journalist Pinky Webb recently paid a heartfelt visit to the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City, taking a moment to say goodbye to the iconic structure that played a significant role in her career.

It is worth noting that the building and its iconic Millennium Transmitter are set to be dismantled following the sale of a portion of the media giant’s property in Quezon City to Ayala Land Inc.
In an emotional Instagram post, Webb shared a photo of herself at the media giant’s headquarters. She was joined by Ces Drilon, KC Constantino-Torres, and Yvette White-Nepomuceno.
In the caption, Webb, who spent many years as a journalist under ABS-CBN, conveyed her appreciation for the meaningful experiences and professional growth she achieved during her time with the company.

“Decades of learning, growing and loving. Forever grateful,” she earnestly wrote.
“Once a Kapamilya, always a Kapamilya,” Webb concluded her post, echoing a sentiment shared by many who have been part of the ABS-CBN family.
Webb’s visit and tribute post evoked a sense of nostalgia among her colleagues and supporters, while also highlighting ABS-CBN’s lasting legacy in Philippine media, even as its physical structures prepare to be taken down.
ABS-CBN is one of the leading media companies in the Philippines. Its 25-year franchise expired on May 4, 2020 and the Committee on Legislative Franchises of the House of Representatives officially rejected on July 10 its bid to secure another franchise.

In a heartfelt farewell post, Julius shared photos of them posing before the iconic tower and the broadcasting center. In his heartwarming caption, Julius honored the tower and the media company Julius, who is now working for TV5, looked back on his precious milestones when he was still a Kapamilya.
In another report, Kim Atienza is among the celebrities who have taken to social media to pay tribute to the ABS-CBN Millennium Transmitter. In a poignant post published on July 10, Kuya Kim shared a carousel of photos, containing snaps featuring the iconic tower and logos of the Kapamilya shows he hosted before transferring to GMA Network. Along with the carousel post, Kuya Kim expressed his heartfelt gratitude to ABS-CBN and its historic tower. “Maraming maraming salamat sa 17 taon!” he began his post. He credited the network for shaping his identity as “Kuya Kim” and ended with a hopeful message for all the Kapamilya.
