A security guard sustained head injuries following a collision between his motorcycle and a tricycle early Monday morning along Lacson Street in Bacolod City, as reported by DYHB via iFM News Bacolod.

The incident occurred at around 5:15 a.m. The injured motorcycle rider was identified as alias Jerald, a 22-year-old resident of Bago City.
Meanwhile, the tricycle driver involved was known only as alias Francisco, 76, from Paglaum Village, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
Initial reports indicate that Jerald was traveling from Gatuslao Street toward South Capitol Road when his motorcycle collided with the tricycle, which was heading northbound from the southern direction.

The impact of the crash threw Jerald off his motorcycle, causing him to hit the roadside gutter and sustain a head injury.
He was immediately given first aid and brought to a nearby hospital for treatment. Francisco, the tricycle driver, suffered minor injuries but remained conscious and stable.
Authorities have yet to determine the exact cause of the collision and are currently conducting further investigation. Both vehicles were removed from the scene to ease the early morning traffic in the area.
Motorists are reminded to remain cautious, especially during low-visibility hours, and to strictly follow traffic rules to prevent accidents like this.
The Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) is expected to release an official statement once the investigation is complete.
