The suspect, identified as Wang Xiuju, was intercepted by BI's border control and intelligence unit upon her arrival from Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Authorities said she had been going by the alias Cassia Palma Poliquit and had secured both a Philippine passport and a birth certificate through late registration.
BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado explained that her movements were being closely tracked after receiving a tip from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) regarding her questionable identity.

“Wang is considered to be the 'Alice Guo' of the Metro,” the BI stated, referring to a moniker based on her alleged involvement in fraudulent activities linked to electric vehicle businesses across Metro Manila.
A fingerprint comparison showed that the identity Wang was using matched hers exactly.
“Poliquit had the exact same fingerprint records as Wang, confirming that they are indeed the same person,” the BI said.
Wang, 43, reportedly holds an investor’s visa as a Chinese national, yet managed to acquire Filipino identity documents. Immigration officials believe this false identity allowed her to run businesses locally under the guise of being a natural-born citizen.
She is currently detained at the BI warden’s facility while deportation proceedings are underway.
