According to Pasig Police, the boy’s grandmother grew alarmed when her son and grandson failed to respond or leave the house in Barangay Maybunga. Authorities were contacted shortly after noon.
“Mga around 12:30 p.m., hindi na responsive ‘yong suspek sa loob ng kwarto, pati ‘yong 3-year old na anak niya,” stated Police Colonel Hendrix Mangaldan, head of the Pasig City Police.
Investigators noted the 23-year-old father had been emotionally unstable, particularly following his separation from the child’s mother.

“Tuwing naghihiwalay silang mag-asawa, nalulungkot, nade-depress, nagkukulong sa kwarto at sa pagkukulong niya sa kwarto, sinasama niya ‘yong anak niya,” Mangaldan explained.
The police entered the house with the permission of the suspect’s mother, ensuring the situation was handled carefully.
“Walang hostage-taking na nangyari. Walang demand, walang weapon being carried by the suspect,” Mangaldan clarified, dismissing speculations of a hostage crisis.
Inside the room, authorities found two sachets of suspected shabu, raising concerns about the father’s substance use.
“We can assume that this suspect is a user,” he added.
Unfortunately, a police officer suffered injuries after being pushed by the suspect, causing him to fall from the second floor.
The child is now in the custody of his grandmother and is reported to be in good condition.

In a previous report by KAMI, Josh Mojica, the Owner and CEO at Kangkong Chips Original, has been in hot water recently for his viral video. In a Facebook video he uploaded on July 2, Mojica was seen driving on EDSA inside his sports car. However, he was also holding his phone while recording a quick clip of himself, his car, and the road. The video went viral and has called the attention of the Land Transportation Office, resulting in Mojica's driver's license being suspended for 90 days.
Additionally, the Land Transportation Office issued a show cause order against "Yanna," a motorcycle vlogger. This was after the viral road rage video where she and a pickup driver got into a confrontation while driving on a rough road in Zambales. It can be recalled that Yanna has already issued a public apology through a Facebook video. In relation to this, Senator JV Ejercito noted that although a public apology has been made by the moto-vlogger, she must still face the consequences of her actions.
