A senior citizen driver was arrested by police officers after being cornered at a gasoline station in Tanay, Rizal.
The man was reportedly involved in a road rage incident where he shot a fellow driver and injured two individuals.
In a report by TV5's 'Frontline Tonight,' the suspect attempted to flee but was apprehended by the newly appointed Provincial Director of the Rizal Provincial Police Office, P/COL Feloteo Gonzalgo.
According to Gonzalgo, a motorcycle rider approached them and reported the road rage incident, which prompted their immediate response.

The suspect admitted to committing the crime. Based on the report, he got into a heated confrontation with a pickup driver.
Two were wounded from the road rage incident, and the pickup driver was reported to be in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the other 3 passengers of the pickup were safe from the shooting incident.
A handgun was recovered from the suspect's vehicle, which was believed to be the crime weapon. However, the license of the gun had already expired.
Recovered too were 2 gun magazines loaded with bullets, a knife, and a machete.
The suspect, who's not under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances, is currently detained in the Tanay Municipal Police Station. He will be charged with illegal possession of firearms and frustrated murder.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
