A group of thieves took a large amount of copper tubes from several air-conditioning units located inside a church compound.

The incident, which was recorded by surveillance cameras, took place in Barangay Bungad, Quezon City.

In the CCTV footage shared by TV5's 'Frontline Sa Umaga,' through QCPD Station 2, the suspects were seen unloading the stolen copper tubes from a tricycle and placing them along the side of the road.

One of the church’s employees was able to capture the crime on CCTV and quickly reported the incident to the authorities.

The police authorities quickly conducted a man-hunt operation and they were able to arrest three suspects.

They also managed to confiscate the tricycle used by the suspects, however, the copper tubes were nowhere to be found.

As of now, the authorities are investigating if the arrested suspects belonged in a group, since they all have police records like robbery and 'akyat-bahay' and possession of firearm.

Meanwhile, the suspects denied the allegations against them. All of them will be charged with robbery.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
