According to initial information, the two boys had gone out to bathe in the rain that day, enjoying the downpour like many children their age. Afterward, they headed to a nearby farm, hoping to pick some watermelon.
However, as the afternoon passed and the children failed to return home, their mother began to worry. Concerned for their safety, she set out to look for them.
Her search led to a devastating discovery. The two boys were found lifeless in a nearby creek, having apparently drowned after their brief adventure.
