Jeep dispatcher dies after being shot multiple times at close range by an armed suspect

A man was shot and killed in Barangay Zapote Dos, Bacoor, Cavite.

Captured by CCTV, a woman was seen rushing out from a narrow road in the area.

Moments later, she was accompanied by the Barangay Chairman of Zapote Dos, and they were actually responding to a shooting incident.

In another video, the victim was seen lying bloodied on the ground just a few meters away from the Aguinaldo Highway.

According to the barangay officials, 2 gunshots were heard in the area, to which they quickly responded.

In an interview conducted by GMA 7's '24 Oras,' Asst. Ex-O, Red Garcia said the victim was a dispatcher of jeepneys going to Alabang.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head and body.

According to the barangay, the authorities already have a person of interest, who was also caught on CCTV.

In the footage, the man was seen walking, stopping at a store, and lighting a cigarette, according to reports, before going into the crime scene.

The actual crime wasn't caught by a CCTV, but a private CCTV of a resident caught the crime, which was already in the hands of the authorities.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
