A woman was arrested after pretending to work as a housemaid, but was later revealed to be a thief.

In a cellphone video, she was seen being apprehended at a bus station in Alibagu, Isabela.

During an entrapment operation conducted by the authorities, the suspect was supposed to meet her new employer, who was in search of a babysitter.

However, instead of meeting her employer, she was confronted by arresting officers due to multiple cases of qualified theft filed against her.

Before the entrapment operation, the suspect tried applying to someone on Facebook who was then looking for a babysitter.

She was using a different name, which was her known modus operandi in applying for jobs as a housemaid.

However, she was traced by her previous victims, and eventually reported her to the police.

In two instances shared by TV5's 'Frontline Tonight,' the suspect was seen going out of a gated residence in Mandaluyong City on May 15, 2024.

She reportedly took away P500,000 worth of cash and pieces of jewelry. Just a couple of days after that incident, she was spotted in San Rafael, Bulacan, where she was reported to have taken P400,000.

The suspect is now in police custody and will be facing the complaints against her in Mandaluyong.

In a previous report by KAMI, a family of three was mercilessly shot and killed inside their store in Barangay Mallorca, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija. Caught by CCTV, three men entered their store, closed the roll-up door, and shot the entire family to death. Before fleeing, one of the suspects even grabbed a bag and a mobile phone from the victim. In a report by Gary De Leon of TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the family started getting threats after lending P1-M to one of the residents of their barangay; allegedly using the money for business.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
