A 49-year-old construction worker is once again behind bars after being caught with over P200,000 worth of suspected shabu in Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City.

According to a report by James Agustin on Unang Balita Friday, authorities served a court-issued search warrant on the suspect’s residence, where they found plastic sachets containing drug&s and dru& paraphernalia.
The seized items amounted to approximately 30 grams of shabu, valued at P204,000.
“Base sa mode of operation na na-gather namin sa kaniya, kinukuha niya po 'yung illegal dru&s sa loob ng bahay niya. Wala po sa mismong posession niya. Kaya po in-apply-an po natin ng search warrant,” explained Police Captain Joefrey Divina, Duty Officer of Galas Police Station.

The suspect admitted to selling dru&s, citing financial struggles as his motivation.
“Nagbebenta po ako kasi mahirap ang buhay… Pa-ano-ano lang ‘yung trabaho kong construction,” he said.
Police said the suspect, known by the alias "Elmer," typically transacted through face-to-face dealings and online.
“Bale ang area of operation po nitong si alyas Elmer is Barangay Tatalon po at ang kaniyang mga parokyano po ay mga taga-Barangay Tatalon lang din at 'yung mga freelancers po na nag-aalok po ng services sa Banawe area po, 'yung mga mekaniko,” Divina added.
This marks the sixth time the suspect has been arrested for dru&-related offenses, with the last imprisonment recorded in 2022. He now faces charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Dru&s Act.

Mae said that the suspect borrowed her cellphone, and she suspected that he used her e-wallet to play on Scatter, eventually leading to an argument and to the assault.
