The risky move alarmed viewers and prompted Lapu-Lapu City outgoing mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan to demand the biker’s identification, emphasizing the need for accountability and road safety.

Shortly after, the biker, identified by the alias “Logan,” voluntarily appeared at Mayor Chan’s office to express remorse for his actions.

During the meeting, he issued a public apology not only to the mayor but also to the general public, acknowledging the recklessness of his behavior.

“Logan” also took the opportunity to advise fellow bikers against imitating his stunt, stressing that safety should always come first.

He admitted that this was not his first offense; a previous video also surfaced showing him attempting a similar stunt involving a modern bus.

His recent stunt has reignited conversations around road discipline, especially among young cyclists who are often influenced by viral trends.

Authorities have yet to announce if Logan will face any legal consequences, but the public apology has been welcomed as a step toward promoting responsible biking.

Mayor Chan reiterated his commitment to ensuring road safety, stating that such incidents should serve as a lesson for all.

“We must always prioritize the safety of everyone on the road,” he said.
