In a phone interview with ABS-CBN News, Marilou Dela Rosa, the victim’s daughter-in-law, recounted the heartbreaking details of the incident.

According to Marilou, a relative who lived near the road was awakened by a loud crashing sound.

Initially thinking that their dog had been hit, they rushed outside to check.

To their shock and horror, they discovered that it was Apong Rosalina who had been hit.

Further details about the vehicle involved or the driver responsible have yet to be released as authorities continue to investigate the matter.

The community mourns the untimely death of Apong Rosalina, who had just marked a rare milestone of turning 105.

Her long life was suddenly cut short by an avoidable road tragedy.

The incident raises concerns about pedestrian safety in the area, especially for elderly residents living near poorly lit or frequently used roads.

The Dela Rosa family is calling for justice and accountability, hoping this will serve as a reminder to all motorists to remain alert and cautious at all times.

Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
