According to a report by *News5*, the suspect, a 40-year-old man, admitted to stabbing his wife in a fit of rage.
The husband reportedly told authorities that he had grown “fed up” with his wife, citing ongoing marital issues.
He revealed that they had not been intim@te for over a month and became angry when his wife allegedly got upset after he asked if her menstrual period had ended.

He also expressed frustration that his wife had been trying to leave him, which he claimed further fueled his anger and led to the stabbing.
A neighbor told reporters that the couple’s relationship had always been unstable, describing it as an on-and-off situation with frequent fights and reconciliations.
The victim survived the attack and is now recuperating in the hospital.
Medical personnel have not disclosed further details about her condition, but she is reportedly stable.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been detained and is facing serious legal consequences.
Despite this, he has reportedly been asking for forgiveness for his actions.
