A 23-year-old motorcycle rider suffered a devastating injury after a high-impact crash in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, left one of his legs severed, according to a report from News5.

The victim, identified as Rodel Amores, was also found to have sustained a broken left leg as a result of the collision.

Authorities said the force of the impact was so intense that Amores was thrown several meters away from the actual site of the crash.

Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene, with debris scattered and the victim lying in critical condition on the road.

Initial investigation revealed that Amores was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
