A tragic accident claimed the lives of a couple in Zamboanga City after their motorcycle was struck by a vehicle allegedly driven by a minor.

According to a report by News5, the couple was making a U-turn when a speeding white sedan collided with them.

CCTV footage captured the moment of impact, showing the motorcycle crossing into the other lane while attempting a U-turn.

In the next seconds, the white sedan violently slammed into the motorcycle.

The footage did not show where the victims’ bodies landed after the collision, but it revealed the car crashing into a concrete fence and eventually catching fire.

The victims were reportedly on their way to sell spices and other goods when the fatal crash occurred—an ordinary day that turned into a devastating tragedy.

Authorities have since confirmed that the vehicle was allegedly being driven by a minor, raising serious concerns about the enforcement of road safety laws and parental responsibility.

The incident has sparked renewed calls for stricter measures to prevent underage individuals from operating motor vehicles.

Police are continuing their investigation and are expected to file appropriate charges following the tragic incident.

The identities of the victims have not been released to the public as of this writing, pending notification of their next of kin.

The heartbreaking loss of the couple has left the community mourning and once again highlights the dangers of reckless driving and lack of supervision behind the wheel.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
