And just seconds after executing the crime, another motorcycle rider came, and was used as a getaway vehicle by the two male backriders of the victim, including the suspect himself.

According to initial reports, the motive behind the crime could possibly be connected to illegal dr*gs.

In the Philippines, if someone shoots and kills another person and then flees the crime scene, the individual can be charged with hom!cide or murder, depending on the circumstances.

Murder is considered a more serious crime than hom!cide and involves qualifying factors such as evident premeditation, treachery, or abuse of superior strength.

Fleeing the scene is viewed as an attempt to evade responsibility and can be seen as a sign of guilt. The suspect may also face additional charges, such as illegal possession of firearms, if the weapon used was unlicensed.

Once caught, the suspect can be arrested and detained while the case is being investigated and tried. If convicted, the punishment can range from reclusion temporal (12 to 20 years) for hom!cide to reclusion perpetua (up to 40 years) for murder, depending on the final judgment of the court.
