According to a report by Tina Panganiban-Perez on "24 Oras" Tuesday, CCTV footage showed the tricycle exiting from a side road onto the national highway in Barangay Bonawon.
Within seconds, a fast-approaching bus collided with the tricycle, which was carrying three passengers. The impact caused the tricycle to overturn.
All four individuals, including the 70-year-old tricycle driver and his passengers, were rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention.

Unfortunately, the driver later died due to severe head injuries sustained in the crash.
