A strange-looking staircase on the side of a di-ke in Brgy. Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City has caught the attention of netizens after a YouScooper named Ser Tating stumbled upon it during a site visit.

On May 14, Ser Tating joined a caravan visiting several construction sites when he noticed the steep and oddly positioned staircase along the Umalag River.

Curious, he attempted to climb it but ended up crawling due to its extreme angle—an amusing moment he captured on video and shared online for some “good vibes.”

He admitted he wasn’t sure if the structure was public or private property, but found the sight too unusual to ignore.

The video quickly gained attention online, with netizens entertained by the staircase’s bizarre design and his struggle to climb it.

According to GMA Regional TV One Mindanao, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 10 clarified that the staircase is part of “Package 1” of a flood control structure meant for monitoring the di-ke.

It was built specifically for personnel overseeing the area and is not intended for public use.

While the staircase may not serve a typical purpose for passersby, it certainly succeeded in sparking laughter and curiosity online—proving that even the most mundane site visits can turn into unexpected sources of amusement.

Rensales, a stroke survivor, felt dizzy and collapsed shortly after casting his vote at Oas South Central Elementary School, ABS-CBN reported. His wife shared that he insisted on voting despite the heat and early crowd, believing his vote still mattered. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
