In a social media post, Go attributed his victory to divine providence and expressed deep gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him by the nation.
“Truly, God is good. God is fair,” Sen. Go stated in his Instagram post, acknowledging the role of faith in his political journey.
He extended his thanks “sa Panginoon sa buhay at gabay, at sa buong sambayanang Pilipino sa tiwala at suporta sa isang simpleng probinsyanong binigyan ninyo ng pagkakataong magsilbi sa bayan” (to the Lord for life and guidance, and to the entire Filipino nation for the trust and support given to a simple provincial man whom you gave the chance to serve the country).

The legislator also emphasized his commitment to serving the Filipino people, particularly those in need.
He pledged to work towards bringing government services and programs closer to the marginalized sectors of society.
“Inaasahan kong maging katuwang kayo sa layunin natin na lalo pang ilapit ang mga serbisyo at programa ng gobyerno, lalo na sa mga mahihirap nating kababayan at mga walang ibang malalapitan kundi ang pamahalaan” (I hope that you will be partners in our goal to bring government services and programs closer, especially to our poor countrymen and those who have no one else to turn to but the government), he said.
The senator articulated his dedication to addressing key issues facing the country, including health, food security, employment, and education.
He promised to exert his utmost effort in promoting the welfare of Filipinos in these critical areas. “Sa abot ng aking makakaya, asahan na patuloy kong ibibigay ang aking sipag, malasakit at more serbisyo upang isulong ang inyong kapakanan, lalo na pagdating sa kalusugan, pagkain, mas maayos na trabaho at hanapbuhay, at edukasyon” (To the best of my ability, expect that I will continue to give my diligence, compassion, and more service to promote your welfare, especially when it comes to health, food, better jobs and livelihood, and education).
Reports from other sources corroborate Senator Go’s significant victory in the senatorial race, highlighting the widespread support he garnered from voters across the country.
News outlets and social media platforms have also featured his campaign promises and his track record of public service.
The senator’s close association with former President Rodrigo Duterte has been a notable aspect of his political career.
His platforms have often emphasized continuity of the previous administration's programs, particularly those focused on infrastructure development and social welfare.
His recent social media post concluded with a call to action, urging the public to continue the “bisyo na magserbisyo” (habit of serving).
This statement reflects his dedication to public service and his desire to engage the Filipino people in collaborative efforts for national development.
His re-election signifies the public’s continued trust in his leadership and his commitment to serving the interests of the nation.
Senator Christopher Lawrence Tesoro Go, more popularly known as “Bong Go,” is a Filipino politician serving as a senator since 2019. He previously served under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte as Special Assistant to the President and Head of the Presidential Management Staff from 2016 to 2018. Prior to working at the Malacañang Palace, Sen. Go previously served as Duterte’s personal aide and special assistant beginning 1998, when the former president was mayor of Davao.
Last month, Senator Go expressed concern over former President Rodrigo Duterte’s arrest, emphasizing his old age and frailty. He argued that elderly individuals like Duterte should be treated with compassion and questioned who would care for him under strict detention abroad. Go highlighted the cultural value of respecting and taking care of elders in the Philippines and warned about potential risks to Duterte’s health in foreign custody. Weeks ago, ICC Presiding Judge Iulia Motoc stated that their doctors had assessed Duterte and found him fully mentally aware and fit for detention.
Previously, he also shared an update on former Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. The senator revealed Medialdea has been discharged from a hospital in the Netherlands after a successful heart procedure. Medialdea, however, is not yet cleared for travel so he has to stay in the Netherlands, according to a post on Go’s Facebook page. Go also expressed gratitude to those who prayed for Medialdea’s recovery.
