Five members of a family sustained burns after a portable LPG tank exploded.

The unfortunate incident took place inside the family’s home in Barangay Dolores, Taytay, Rizal.

CCTV footage showed a man and a woman carrying a 9-month-old baby were able to escape from the house at first.

But the man went back inside, and just moments later, a sudden explosion erupted inside their home.

Two family members, including the man who had just gotten out, were thrown outside of their house because of the explosion's impact.

The woman carrying the baby was also caught by the huge explosion.

In an interview, the family bought a new portable stove and tried testing it.

However, the gas suddenly leaked out, the worst part was that they were cooking on a different stove just a few inches away, and they believed it triggered the explosion.

Five family members, including the 9-month-old baby who suffered 2nd-degree burns.

All of them are now trying to recover from their wounds. Meanwhile, the family was asking for financial help to pay their hospital bills.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
