- A 16-year-old girl was allegedly molested by her three schoolmates

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly r@ped by three suspects who were her schoolmates, Grade 12 students, after a drinking party in Tondo, Manila.

In a report by Nico Waje on GMA News “Saksi” on Monday, Police Lieutenant Colonel Emmanuel Gomez, station commander of the Baseco Police Station, said that the victim, a Grade 11 student, had a chat with one of the suspects who had invited her to drink.

The drinking party reportedly started at 11 p.m. on April 6 and ended at 2 a.m. the next day.

According to the victim’s story, she fell asleep due to excessive intoxication and when she woke up, someone was holding her hands and kissing her.

The suspects then took turns r@ping her.

The victim was said to have managed to escape when the suspects fell asleep and she went to a friend’s house.

The suspects were arrested during a follow-up operation. They refused to give a statement.

The three suspects, who are all in custody, will face r@pe charges.

As of writing, the family of the victim nor the victim herself has not yet given an official statement, nor has any consent been given for an interview.

The incident only illustrates the danger of drinking with one's peers.

According to the report of Balitanghali of GMA Integrated News, the victim was driving a tricycle. A man at the roadside then signaled for him to stop, and when he did, he was shot by the perpetrator. The gunman immediately fled the scene, but authorities already have a person of interest.
