According to PCPL. Jayson Galit, an Investigator of the San Jose Del Monte Police, the off-duty traffic enforcer, decided to let the pickup driver escape because he could no longer control him due to too much intoxication.

So, to avoid any further damage, he let the driver flee the crime scene.

PCPL. Galit also added that the Vice Mayor candidate was the one who surrendered the suspect to the authorities.

In the end, both parties agreed to a settlement. They promised to pay all the damages to the rider's motorcycle and pay him for the loss that he incurred because he was unable to use his vehicle for work.
