The video also depicts a woman attempting to intervene and separate the fighting men. However, her efforts were initially unsuccessful, as the three individuals continued their physical confrontation.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the underlying cause of the brawl was a dispute over the acquisition of passengers, a common point of contention among public transport operators vying for commuters.

The physical altercation only ceased when personnel from the terminal's civil security unit, along with other drivers present at the scene, stepped in to mediate and physically separate the involved parties.

By the time the intervention occurred, all three men had sustained visible minor injuries, such as scrapes and bruises, as a result of the fight.

Following the cessation of the physical confrontation, the three individuals were taken to the local barangay (village) hall.

Competition for passengers is a known issue within the public transportation sector in many urban and semi-urban areas.

Drivers and conductors often operate on a commission-based system, where their earnings are directly tied to the number of passengers they can secure.

This can lead to intense rivalry and, in some instances, to conflicts such as the one witnessed in Koronadal City.

While the specific transportation companies or types of vehicles involved in this incident were not immediately clear from the initial report, such disputes can occur between drivers of jeepneys, buses, or other forms of public transport that operate along similar routes and compete for the same pool of commuters.

News, photos or videos that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media, due to the attention netizens give them. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, such could also happen to ordinary people, making them very relatable to just about simply everyone around.
