In the heat of the brawl, amid punches being exchanged, the suspect suddenly pulled out a firearm and fired multiple shots, leading to the tragic outcome.
The incident has divided netizens, with some sympathizing with the suspect, arguing that he was merely defending himself and his family, while others believe he overreacted and unnecessarily resorted to violence.
One commenter defended the suspect, saying, "Kahit sinong pagtulungan na kasama ang kanyang pamilya, lalaban talaga."
Others, however, criticized the suspect’s actions.
"Sya lang naman nagpahamak sa pamilya nya... Makikipagsuntukan tapos kapag natalo bigla nalang mamamaril."
Another netizen pointed out that the suspect should have chosen to de-escalate the situation.
