The alarming situation came to light when the victim’s sister found messages on Messenger suggesting illicit transactions involving the young girl.
According to a report by Frontline, the sister immediately alerted the authorities after uncovering the disturbing messages.
Acting swiftly on the report, law enforcement officers arrested the vape shop owner, who is now facing serious charges.

Investigations revealed that the victim was initially introduced to the vape shop by a friend under the pretense of cleaning the establishment.

In other news, an elderly man died after he and his wife were ambushed while travelling aboard their pickup truck along a national highway in Buluan, Maguindanao del Sur. According to a report by GMA Regional TV News, the 77-year-old male died while his 66-year-old wife suffered injuries. Reports also state that the 77-year-old male was identified as a manager at an agri-machinery company. Investigators say that the two were tailed by motorcycle-riding gunmen and when they got to a certain, they opened fire, fatally injuring the 77-year-old male and inflicting injuries to his wife.
