A motorcycle rider crashed into the center island and was declared dead on the spot.

According to a report by GMA 7's 'Unang Balita,' the incident took place in Sampaloc, Manila.

CCTV footage showed that the rider was speeding before crashing directly into the center island.

Due to the strong impact, the victim's body was thrown several feet away.

The victim suffered from severe head injury and other parts of the body.

While other people put warning signs around the body of the victim, a bystander was seen picking up a couple of the victim's belongings.

According to the family of the rider, among the missing items from the victim's possession was its cellphone.
