Unfortunately, the dog had already succumbed to its injuries before they could receive any help.
When the concerned citizens confronted the security guard about the incident, he claimed that the dog already had a wound on its head when it entered the subdivision.
He also denied any involvement in harming the animal, stating that he merely moved the dog outside the premises.
Despite these claims, the CCTV footage and the condition of the dog have raised serious questions about the true circumstances of its death.
The incident has since ignited discussions about animal cruelty and the responsibilities of security personnel in handling stray animals.
Local animal welfare advocates have called for an investigation to determine whether the guard was indeed responsible for the dog’s fatal injuries.
If proven guilty, the individual could face charges under the Animal Welfare Act of the Philippines.
This incident serves as a tragic reminder of the importance of treating animals with compassion and ensuring that those responsible for their harm are held accountable.
