The suspect behind a road rage incident in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo, on Sunday, March 30, during which the suspect also allegedly shot and accidentally wounded his wife, was arrested, as per ABS-CBN's report.

Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares stated that the suspect, identified by authorities as "Kenneth," 28, was swiftly apprehended at a checkpoint.
Prior to the incident, a video captured the suspect and another man wearing a helmet engaged in a physical altercation, with bystanders attempting to intervene.
Suddenly, the suspect brandished a firearm and fired multiple shots, causing the man to collapse.

“Nahuli ang suspect na nambaril ng kanyang nakaalitan sa daan. Sa dami ng beses niya pinaputok ang kanyang baril, pati misis niya ay kanyang tinamaan,” Ynares said.
He further noted that the victims were transported to the hospital, while the suspect remains in police custody.
"Dinala sa hospital ang mga sugatan kasama ang kanyang may bahay. Isa ang nasawi sa nasabing insidente ngayong hapon," he said, in Manila Bulletin's report.
The mayor also urged motorists to remain calm while driving.
“Lamig ng ulo sa daan ang kailangan. Drive safely, Antipolo. Hindi mahalaga kung sino ang tama at sino ang mali. Keep your cool all the time. It's not worth it. Ipaubaya po sa Diyos ang lahat,” he said.

Investigators say that the two were tailed by motorcycle-riding gunmen and when they got to a certain, they opened fire, fatally injuring the 77-year-old male and inflicting injuries to his wife.
