The motorcycle rider who shot and killed another rider on Commonwealth Ave, Quezon City, has now been identified.
According to a post by the Raffy Tulfo in Action Facebook page, the suspect was identified as Abo Kabalo Sampillo.
After Sen. Raffy Tulfo aired the crime, three witnesses came forward to authorities to share what they knew, according to PMAJ DonDon Llapitan, Chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of QCPD.

With the help of a cartographic sketch of the suspect and backtracking of CCTVs in the area, they were able to confirm the suspect's identity.

According to the witnesses, they heard 2 gun shots and they just saw the victim flat on the floor. They also said they saw Sampillo's face right when he was trying to escape.
Using CCTV footages, they were able to locate the area where the suspect parked his motorcycle. He then walked without his helmet and there, they saw that his upper garment and slippers matched that of the one who was called out by MMDA and fled.
Forensics team also examined the bullet shell that was recovered in the crime scene and dusting of his motorcycle was already included in the process.
As it turned out, the suspect has a standing warrant of arrest for murder back in 2021. Adding to the case that they will file against the suspect for shooting and killing Wilmer
