A traffic enforcer sustained injuries after being struck by a speeding tricycle in Aurora, Isabela.

According to reports from GMA Regional TV's Balitanghali, the dashcam footage shows the traffic enforcer seemingly attempting to halt the approaching tricycle.

The tricycle, however, swerved to the left, resulting in a collision with the enforcer.

Despite the impact, the traffic enforcer was able to regain his footing and walk. However, the tricycle continued its trajectory without stopping.

Subsequent efforts by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) led to the arrest of the tricycle driver.

In other news, a Grade 8 female student from Moonwalk National High School in Paranaque City died after she was allegedly stabbed by a fellow student. Authorities were able to recover at the scene of the crime bullet casings which they say came from a 5.56 caliber firearm.
