A cat named Moymoy was reportedly stabbed multiple times in Murcia, Negros Occidental on March 19.
According to a Facebook post by the animal welfare group BACH Project PH, the cat’s intestines were allegedly exposed due to the stab wounds.
The group also shared that the cat’s owner was horrified upon seeing the bloodied cat return home to their house in Sunrise Village, Barangay Blumentritt.
They immediately rushed the severely injured cat to a veterinary clinic in Bacolod City for urgent medical treatment.

Moymoy underwent surgery, but sadly, he didn't make it and eventually passed away on his sleep.
They shared the heartbreaking news in a Facebook post.
"At 4:45 AM, the clinic staff gave us the news we feared the most—Moymoy’s little body couldn’t hold on any longer. He passed away in his sleep."
"He fought so hard. Despite the pain, despite everything he had been through, he held on as long as he could. We hoped for a miracle, but his tiny body was too weak. His suffering is over now, but the pain of losing him is heavy."
"Moymoy deserved a life full of love and safety, not cruelty. He deserved to grow old, to be happy, to be cherished. Instead, he was taken from us too soon. His last moments were filled with care, warmth, and love, but it will never be enough to erase what was done to him."
"To the person who did this—Moymoy’s suffering was because of you. Your cruelty took an innocent life, and no excuse will ever justify it. We will not forget, and while the law may not catch you, karma will."
