According to Brigada News Philippines, the victim’s body was discovered past 9 AM on Monday, March 17, lying directly under the chapel’s altar. Authorities are now investigating the tragic incident.
The girl's father revealed that she had been missing since Saturday, March 15. That morning, he left their home at 6 AM for an important errand.
At around 8 AM, he was still able to chat with his daughter, who even requested fried chicken.

However, when he returned home at noon, she was nowhere to be found.
Desperate to locate his daughter, he and his family searched for her until evening, but their efforts were in vain.
Adding to the chilling details of the case, the father disclosed that one of the people he had asked about his daughter's whereabouts turned out to be the same person who had access to the chapel.
This suspect, who held a key to the facility, is now being closely investigated.
The Baybay City Police have already identified a lead in their investigation and are working to uncover the truth behind the young girl’s death.
Authorities continue to gather evidence to ensure justice for the victim and her grieving family.
