A 21-year-old man has been arrested for robbing and r@ping a woman who mistakenly believed his motorcycle was the one she had booked in Cebu City.

According to a report by Alan Domingo on GMA Regional TV’s Balitang Bisdak on Friday, police investigations revealed that the victim was on her way home from work in Talisay City in the early hours of March 13 when she was hit by the suspect.

Instead of taking the victim to Talisay, the suspect pretended that he needed to urinate and led her to a deserted and shady area in South Road Properties (SRP). There, he threatened her with a screwdriver.

The suspect initially took the victim’s cellphone and money, but he was not satisfied with the robbery alone.

He then proceeded to assault the terrified victim.

Following the assault, the suspect dropped the victim off near her house.

The victim immediately reported the incident to authorities, leading to the swift arrest of the suspect.

Investigations revealed that the motorcycle used by the suspect was rented.

During questioning, the suspect admitted to committing the crime, stating that he needed money to pay for his tuition as a college student.

Although the suspect expressed remorse for his actions, the victim remains determined to press charges against him.

As reported in TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the suspect, Jason Dalayon, was resting on a hammock when he saw the victim and called him. That's when the suspect stabbed the victim, multiple times; as reported, the victim sustained a total of 13 stab wounds.
