Baste reportedly came from NCR to process his VISA to the Netherlands.
"May natanggap akong impormasyon na papasukin daw ang bahay. Wala namang problema, sa totoo lang. Papasok sila, gusto nilang tingnan, ganyan. May respeto ako sa trabaho ng pulis," said Mayor Baste. "Ang problema diyan, wala akong tiwala sa liderato natin ngayon. Importante talaga ngayon na alam natin ang ating mga karapatan."
Meanwhile, Police Regional Office 11 denied the allegations of any planned operations specifically inside the former president's house.
Despite that, supporters of the former president remained guarding his house in Davao City.

In a previous report by KAMI, it can be recalled that Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa was nowhere to be found during the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte yesterday. In a report by TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' they were trying to contact the senator but all his lines were out of reach. The report also added that, usually, getting an interview or statement from Bato was easy, but they unfortunately didn't know the current whereabouts of the senator. It can be recalled that he was also in the ICC complaint for crimes against humanity since he was the PNP chief during the "War on Drug" campaign of the former president.
Additionally, Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa has broken his silence a day after former President Rodrigo Duterte was arrested and whisked away on a plane bound for The Hague in The Netherlands. It can be recalled that many have been wondering as to the whereabouts of the senator, who was the PNP Chief when FPRRD was still the president. Many perceive Sen. Bato as the chief implementor of FPRRD’s war on illegal substances. His statement came amid the recent ruling of the Supreme Court, denying his petition for a temporary restraining order or TRO against the arrest warrant issued by the ICC.
