A fight between two fathers broke out after a dispute between their children in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.

One of the men involved, a 32-year-old father, lost nearly half of his ear after his opponent bit him during the altercation.

According to a report by TV5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the conflict started when the suspect's child allegedly tore the notebook of the victim's child.

The suspect later went to the victim’s house, where the victim, along with his wife and child, was allegedly assaulted.

The victim fought back and in the middle of their fight, the suspect bit the right ear of the victim and tore off half of it.

Police authorities arrested the suspect who immediately asked for the victim's forgiveness. The victim reportedly forgave the suspect and didn't pursue filing a complaint against the suspect as long as the violent assault would not happen again.

The suspect is expected to be released from the detention facility after the settlement that has been made between him and his victims.
