On Facebook, Isabelle shared an adorable throwback photo of herself with her grandfather.
“Lolo, just two weeks~ shy of your 80th birthday, you reminded all of us once again of the importance of putting the country first - no matter the cost,” Isabelle wrote in the caption.
“Salamat sa imong sakripisyo and for your unwavering, selfless service to the nation,” she continued.

Isabelle went on to vow that her lolo’s “service to the Filipino people is never forgotten.” She likewise stressed that she will forever defend her granddad’s name.
“I will make it my life’s mission to ensure that your service to the Filipino people is never forgotten, this INJUSTICE will not fade from memory. You always acted with the belief that what you do is and was for the greater good of our country and for that, I will forever defend your name.”
“I stand with you. MY LOLO, MY HERO,” Isabelle earnestly added.

FPRRD has recently boarded a chartered flight nearly 12 hours after his arrest at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila.
According to an update by ABS-CBN News, the chartered flight was reportedly bound for The Hague, Netherlands, with the former leader facing charges before the International Criminal Court (ICC).
He was also permitted to bring three companions, including former Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, who is a Filipino lawyer who served under Duterte during his rule from 2016 to 2022.
FPRRD's arrest on March 11, 2025, followed the issuance of an ICC warrant accusing him of crimes against humanity related to his administration's controversial war on dr&gs.

In a recent post on her socmed page, she lamented about the alleged harsh treatment that her father has been receiving. She questioned why her father was only given just a sandwich to eat despite the fact that the flight to The Hague could last over eight hours.
