A 33-year-old woman was brutally murdered by her own older brother.
Her lifeless body was discovered on Friday evening in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Antipolo City.
According to a report by EJ Gomez on GMA 7's 'Unang Balita,' the victim suffered severe wounds on her head, hands, arms, and other parts of her body.
The horrific crime took place right in front of the victim’s two young children.

In an interview, PLTCOL. Ryan L. Manongdo, Chief of Antipolo City Police said the children of the victim went out of the house and screaming for help as their uncle was hacking their mother.
The poor kids were shaking from fear and non-stop crying as they witnessed the crime unfold in front of their eyes.
The 34-year-old suspect was found inside the house looking at nowhere and speechless. His hands, shirt, and feet were all covered in blood.
The suspect used a butcher knife to commit the crime, which he disposed of inside a room next to where he committed the crime.
Based on the police investigations, the siblings got into a heated argument which led to the older brother killing his younger sister.
According to the suspect himself, their argument led to a bigger fight when the topic involved money and their family problems.
He admitted he was mad at his sister.
Meanwhile, according to PLTCOL. Ryan L. Manongdo, the suspect, just came out of a mental institution and he reportedly missed his medication three consecutive times.
The suspect is now in the custodial facility of Antipolo Component City Police Station and will be charged with homicide.
