A tragic shooting incident occurred in Brgy. Sum-ag on March 7, where a husband and wife were ambushed while onboard their white pickup truck.

The attack left the wife dead and the husband seriously wounded.

According to a report by iFM Bacolod 943, initial investigations suggest that the couple was being followed by two motorcycles before reaching Bangga Tomaro, where the gunmen opened fire on them.

The husband, who was driving at the time, sustained serious injuries, while his wife succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.

That's when the suspect stabbed the victim, multiple times; as reported, the victim sustained a total of 13 stab wounds.
