According to a report by iFM Bacolod 943, initial investigations suggest that the couple was being followed by two motorcycles before reaching Bangga Tomaro, where the gunmen opened fire on them.
The husband, who was driving at the time, sustained serious injuries, while his wife succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
