A 25-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the Aroma compound in Tondo, Manila, on Monday afternoon, following an altercation with four brothers.

According to police reports, the victim arrived at the suspects' residence accompanied by his live-in partner.
The purpose of their visit was to locate an unidentified woman, reportedly sought by the victim from one of the brothers.

A dispute soon erupted between the victim and one of the brothers, escalating into a heated confrontation.
During the altercation, the suspect's three siblings intervened, restraining the victim.
The initial suspect then produced a bladed weapon and inflicted a fatal stab wound to the victim's back.
Despite the severity of his injuries, the victim managed to flee the scene, and his partner attempted to transport him to a nearby hospital.
However, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The four brothers fled the scene immediately after the incident.
Law enforcement officials are currently conducting a follow-up operation to apprehend the suspects, who will face murder charges upon arrest.
The victim's mother acknowledged that her son had previously been involved in illegal drug activities, though she stated that the motive for the attack remained unclear.
Her immediate concern is now the financial burden of funeral expenses.
