Authorities in Liloan, Cebu arrested two suspects for human trafficking.

The National Bureau of Investigation Region VII carried out an entrapment operation that led to their capture.

A male suspect and another individual from the LGBTQ community were caught offering five women to customers at a bar.

According to a report by TV5's 'Frontline Tonight,' the suspects pretended to be regular customers while secretly offering the victims to those drinking inside.

Three of the five saved women were minor high-schoolers.

Their asking price was P1,500 for each girl and P500 for each suspect as their service fee.

The suspects didn't deny the allegations and admitted that they committed the said crime.

"Hindi namin 'to hanapbuhay. Ang amin lang, para may paipang-tagay kami," said one of the suspects.

"Maliit lang ang kinikita namin, P100 lang. Pang-tagay lang talaga," confessed by the other one.

They will be charged with qualified human trafficking.

Meanwhile, the rescued victims were already put under the care of DSWD. Additionally, the NBI is still looking for the other victims of the suspects.

According to the report, the parents of the victims could also be charged if proven that there was negligence on their part.

Also, if they know the crime being committed upon their children and just choose to tolerate it.
