A video of two firefighters in Mantuyong, Mandaue City, desperately trying to save a dog trapped inside a burning house has gone viral, touching the hearts of many netizens.

The footage shows one firefighter performing CPR on the lifeless dog, doing his best to revive the animal.

In a remarkable display of dedication, another firefighter even attempted mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to help bring the dog back to life.
