The lifeless body of a teenage girl was discovered by police authorities early Thursday morning in Bayambang, Pangasinan.
Based on initial investigations, the victim left her home on February 18 and has not returned since then.
Authorities are looking into the possibility that she was taken advantage of by three men before being struck with a piece of wood.
According to a report by TV5’s 'Frontline Pilipinas,' further investigations are being conducted to determine the full details of the crime.

"Naka-schedule na rin ito para sa post-mortem examination nang sa gayon makita kung nagahasa talaga ang biktima," said P/Lt. Trisha Mae Guzman, PIO of Pangasinan PPO.
Following the incident, three men were arrested by the police authorities. If proven that they took advantage of the 16-year-old victim, they will be charged with rape with homicide.

According to the police, the body was in fetal position, clothes were intact, but wounds were found on her body.
