A 47-year-old woman was tragically shot and killed inside her sari-sari store in Koronadal City.

According to a report by TV Patrol, the suspect lured the victim out by pretending to buy cigarettes before carrying out the fatal attack.
At the time of the incident, the victim and her sibling were sleeping inside their store. They were suddenly awakened when someone called out, pretending to be a customer in need of cigarettes.
As the woman got up to attend to the supposed customer, the suspect immediately shot her.

After firing the fatal shots, the assailant quickly fled the scene on a getaway motorcycle, leaving the victim fatally wounded.
Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries.
It was found that the victim is a relative of Maguindanao del Sur Governor Mariam Sangki-Mangudadatu and former TESDA Secretary Suharto Teng-Mangudadatu.
Authorities are now conducting an investigation to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the killing.
They are also reviewing CCTV footage and gathering witness statements to aid in their search.
