The dismembered body of a missing person was discovered inside a house in Phase 10, Barangay Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.

According to a report on 24 Oras, the victim was identified as Michael Dolina, also known as "Shalani," who was 37 years old.

He had been reported missing for three days before his remains were found inside an apartment belonging to a tattoo artist, who is now considered a person of interest by the police.

One of the victim’s limbs was found inside an ice cooler, while the rest of the body was wrapped in a foam bed.

According to the mother of the tattoo artist, she doesn't know the whereabouts of her son, and that she's convincing him to surrender to the authorities.

"Lumantad siya. Sumuko siya kasi kung ano man 'yung nagawa niya, kung bakit niya ginawa, dapat 'di niya ginagawa kasi pinalaki ko naman siya nang buong pagmamahal eh," said the tattoo artist's mother.

Meanwhile, the victim's brother believed there were multiple individuals involved in the crime committed against his sibling.

According to North Caloocan Police, the motive behind the crime was still unknown but they have 2 to 3 persons of interest.
