A businesswoman named Erika Duran openly admits to being a workaholic.
In a special report by GMA Public Affairs, it was revealed that Duran had been experiencing frequent headaches.
However, in November of last year, she suffered from an intense and unbearable headache.
In an exclusive interview with GMA 7, Duran shared that she felt some kind of fluid coming out of her mouth.

Little did she know, she was already having a seizure, and she already had a ruptured blood vessel in the brain.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was intubated in the ICU.
It was believed that what happened to Duran was caused by her being a workaholic.
After being checked by a specialist, they found out that Duran had an Arteriovenous Malformations or AVM which is a congenital problem.
According to the report, stress and lack of sleep were also contributing factors to Duran's case.
She underwent open brain surgery and thankfully, everything went well.
Duran is now slowly recovering from her major operation although she can barely remember what had happened for the past month during her life-threatening predicament.
Because of the incident, Duran gave everyone, particularly workaholics, a piece of advice.
"Kailangan mag slow down tayo. Alamin natin 'yung priorities natin."

When police authorities came to inspect what was inside the suitcase, they found a bloated body of a minor girl. According to the police, the body was in fetal position, clothes were intact, but wounds were found on her body.
