Authorities confiscated P8,840,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Antonio, Makati City.

The operation targeted a female suspect who was living with her partner.
According to PMaj Ryan Salazar, chief of Makati’s Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), the woman had plans to resign from her job to focus entirely on drug dealing.
“May nakita kaming resignation letter sa condo nila, nagpasa na siya ng resignation na mag-resign na siya sa work niya para makapag-focus siya dito sa pagbebenta [ng droga],” Salazar revealed.

The SDEU reported that the confiscated dru&s were packed in vacuum-sealed foil labeled “Freeze-dried Durian” and featured Chinese characters.
The operation is part of an ongoing effort to crack down on drug-related activities in the area.
Authorities are now conducting further investigations to determine the full extent of the suspect’s involvement in drug distribution and whether there are other individuals linked to the operation.
The suspect is currently in police custody and will face charges in violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Dru&s Act.
