Fran Yu, a professional basketball player in the PBA and player of 'Northport Batang Pier,' got involved in a scuffle with several barangay officials.
The incident took place right in front of the barangay hall of Brgy. 350 Zone 35 District III in Manila.
CCTV footage showed Yu parking in front of the barangay hall, where a "NO PARKING" sign for private vehicles was clearly posted.
In a report by ABS-CBN's 'TV Patrol,' Yu was told to park elsewhere but ended up in an argument with barangay tanod Rosendo Prado, who confronted him about the illegal parking.

When thing got a little heated between Yu ang the barangay officials, one barangay kagawad named Victorino Farrales, stepped in to defend Prado.
After the scuffle, Yu's father arrived which sparked another commotion between the barangay officials and Yu.
The PBA player threw punches which bruised Farrales on his cheek and chest, and also a bump on his head.
The barangay, especially Farrales are willing to settle with Yu. In fact, they're scheduled to talk again today, Thursday.
According to the barangay officials, the part where a "NO PARKING" sign is placed is a designated parking area only for barangay patrols and other vehicles used for emergencies.
Meanwhile, PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said he will look into the video of the incident and talk to Yu about it.
Fran Louie Yu, born on June 16, 1998, is a Filipino basketball player known for his role as a point guard. He gained prominence during his collegiate career with the Letran Knights, leading them to a three-peat in the NCAA and earning the Finals MVP award in Season 95.
Despite his college success, Yu was selected 40th overall in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft by NorthPort Batang Pier, reuniting with coach Bonnie Tan. In his rookie season with NorthPort, he averaged 5 points, 2.62 rebounds, and 4.92 assists per game. Yu continues to showcase his skills in the Philippine Basketball Association.
