The incident occurred in Barangay 178 at around 2 a.m. Monday, according to Unang Balita of GMA News.
The 33-year-old victim sustained gunshot wounds to his head and body.
According to police investigation, the victim and his partner were drinking when someone knocked on the door and called the victim's name.
A resident said he heard two gunshots. He said the victim's partner called for help.
"It was just a shot, two shots, then I looked out the window. I saw two motorcycles leaving," said the resident, who asked not to be named.
CCTV footage captured the four assailants exiting the alley.
Two were wearing hats, one was wearing a helmet, while the other was covering his face with the hood of his jacket.
Police are still investigating the possible motive for the crime since at the time of the incident, and even in their investigations, they were not able to identify the motive.
It was learned that the victim had only been renting the area for a few months.
SOCO recovered two spent bullet shells from the scene of the shooting.
